This Privacy Policy explains what information IBO Player ("we", "us") collects and how we use it when you use our application and website (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Device identifier: When you open the app, it generates a random device ID ("MAC address") and a device key to identify your installation and manage your activation status. This is not your hardware MAC address.
Playlist data: The playlist names and URLs you add are stored so they can be delivered to your device. We do not access, play back, or analyse the content behind those URLs.
Account & billing: When you purchase a plan, payment is handled by our third-party reseller / merchant of record. We do not store your full payment card details.
Basic technical data: Standard logs (such as request times and error information) used to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to: operate the Service; deliver your saved playlists to your device; manage trials and activations; provide support; and protect against abuse and fraud.

3. What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not monitor or record what you watch. The content you play is between you and your content provider.

4. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service (such as our hosting provider and payment reseller), and where required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain device and playlist data for as long as your device is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Contact).

6. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data. Access to your account is secured by your device ID and device key — keep them private.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
